World’s 11 Most Expensive Watches
Chopard 201-Carat Watch
More of a show piece than a practical every day accessory, the Chopard 201 is covered in 874 rare diamonds arranged as flowers, which certainly sets it apart from its competition. This bouquet of a watch truly is a work of art and sold in auction for $25 million!
Breguet Grande Complication Marie Antoinette
More than just a timepiece, this watch also happens to be a lover’s keepsake and a true piece of history. A man who was allegedly a love of Marie Antoinette commissioned the watch in 1782 and the piece took 45 years, 832 parts and and two generations of watchmakers to complete. Unfortunately Marie Antoinette never wore the watch as it was completed several decades after her death, but it makes for an incredible story all the same. The watch was valued at an incredible $30 million in 2014.
