Ghouls, goblins, monsters, and axe murderers rejoice! For the month of October is upon us and the most important day of your calendar year is fast approaching!
Don’t worry, I don’t believe in ghouls, goblins, or monsters. As for axe murderers, I mean … it’s 2018.
These days, you can’t find very many people arguing in favor of the existence ghouls and goblins. Thank the Internet for that. You can, however, find website after website, tweet after tweet, and book after book documenting the very spooky and seemingly credible, real-life ghost stories.
Today, we’re going to take a look at some of the more popular, real-life ghost stories. Some of the stories listed here would go on to inspire multi-million-dollar movie franchises. Others would earn millions of re-tweets. While all of them, at one point or another, caused a lot of very intelligent people to question the existence of the paranormal.
Do you believe in ghosts? After reading the following list of true ghost stores, you just might.
1. Hotel Monte Vista
Some people book hotels for the amenities while others are just looking for a comfortable place to rest their head after a long day. But, patrons of Arizona’s Hotel Monte Vista should expect more than continental breakfasts and complimentary wake-up calls.
The Hotel Monte Vista has been around since January 1, 1927. And, over the years, they’ve had the pleasure of serving all sorts of people from all walks of life. And, unfortunately for those in-need of a good night’s rest, some of those people have never left.
The Hotel Monte Vista has a reputation for being haunted. But don‚Äôt just take my word for it. Take their website‚Äôs! The place is haunted by long-dead bank robbers, a phantom bellboy, a baby in the basement, and more. My personal favorite is ‚ÄúThe Meat Man,‚ÄĚ which haunts Room 220 by changing the channels on the television and touching guests with his cold, dead hands.
