Tim McGraw and wife, Faith Hill bring a little country to the Bahamas. This good-looking, super successful, country-singing couple decided to bring the ho-down to their own private island in the Exuma Islands of the Bahamas. Their 17-acre island, known as Goat Cay, was developed to their liking with a 4 bedroom home that measures 15,000 square feet, a look-out tower, and three separate homes for their staff.

Although the price of the island is not known, there is rumor that the couple spent $30 million to make this their own private oasis.

Jay-Z and Beyonce: North Abaco, Bahamas

What says love more than the gift of an island? For their five-year wedding anniversary, Jay-Z spent $3 million on an island for Beyonce. The island is located in the region of North Abaco in the Bahamas.

Apparently, purchasing islands has now become a precedent for gift giving in this family. It is rumored that the couple, with a combined net worth of $1 billion, also purchased Phuket Island off the coast of Thailand for daughter Blue Ivy’s third birthday. The island has a $7 million price tag.

Ted Turner: St. Phillips Island, South Carolina

Billionaire media mogul Ted Turner has been an island owner for over three decades. In 1979, Turner purchased St. Phillips Island for a mere $2 million and in 2014, he put the island up for sale for $24.7 million. Turner spared no expense when inhabiting this island off the coast of South Carolina. The main house is a five bedroom, five bathroom home, there is a home for the island manager, and the island has its own water tower, generator, and solar panels.
