13 of the Hottest Psychopaths on Film

Even though we know they’re no good for us, many of us can’t help but be attracted to bad boys and nasty women. Who needs a healthy relationship when you can experience the danger, excitement and instability of dating a really hot, crazy person?  Here are 13 psychopaths that, fortunately for us, are fictional and not available to actually date because if they were, we probably would.

Norman Bates from Psycho (1960)

If Alfred Hitchcock wanted us to cower in our seats at the sight of Psycho villain Norman Bates, he should have cast someone worse looking than the dreamy Anthony Perkins. The resident killer of Bates Motel, Perkins’ eyes are so big, brown, and long lashed that we almost don’t notice the flicker of crazy that passes through them as he gleefully preys on his unsuspecting guests. Sadly, while Bates is handsome, he’s not really boyfriend material. His mommy complex and love of taxidermy would be major deal breakers for us.

Alex Forrest from Fatal Attraction (1987)

If it’s possible to be guilty of loving someone too much, then lock her up! Curly haired beauty Alex Forrest, played by the gorgeous Glenn Close, is a woman who could make some man very happy, if she could only find one deserving of her affections instead of a married ingrate like Michael Douglas. If you enjoy stalking, boiling bunnies, and long walks on the beach, then Alex just might be your fictional dream girl.

Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Women love a sophisticated man who knows how to partake in the finer things in life. A few would probably even love to enjoy some fava beans and a nice Chianti with a handsome and successful man like Dr. Hannibal Lecter. I mean, sure he’s a notorious and sadistic cannibal who enjoys playing vicious mind games with his victims for pleasure, but people can change, right? Most famously portrayed by Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, Lecter is pretty easy on the eyes. Did we mention he’s a doctor? Your mother would love him.
