10 Aging Stars Who’ve Still Got It
Despite her age and her numerous health problems, 73-year-old Aretha Franklin still knows how to bring an audience to its feet. In 2009 she reminded the entire nation of just how incredible she is with her performance of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” at President Obama’s inauguration ceremony. And who could forget that awesome hat?
In 2014, she became the first woman and fourth person to have 100 songs on the Billboard chart with her cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” and in 2015, she received a mid-performance standing ovation and brought the President to tears at the Kennedy Center when she belted out “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” at a tribute to songwriter Carole King. So much sass!
